I always try to approach each patient as though they were a family member or friend. I think it is important for patients to understand the problem in detail as well as all of the treatment options that are available to them. That way, I can help the patient to make the best decision for them personally and then can provide the care they need. I am experienced in diagnosing and treating conditions impacting the male and female urinary tract system, as well as the male reproductive organs. This includes common problems such as benign prostatic enlargement, overactive bladder, and kidney stones, but also more complex conditions such as cancers of the prostate, kidneys, and bladder. In order to provide the best care for my patients, I provide state of the art diagnostic testing and treatments and I participate in multi-disciplinary conferences where I work together with other specialist to provide the best care for my patients. I believe in providing the least invasive procedures possible to diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions. When surgery is necessary, I aim for minimally-invasive procedures, like robotic surgery, which involve smaller incisions and lead to faster recovery time for patients. And after we have treated a problem such as a cancer or a kidney stone, I help my patients make changes to help decrease the risk of the problem reoccurring.

I moved to Colorado Springs in 2013 with my wonderful wife Laura. We have five children who keep us busy and bring us so much joy. I enjoy many outdoor activities available in Colorado including skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing and trail running. I am also an active member of my church Fellowship of the Rockies.
