Welcome to my page! Growing up in California, my family and I were Kaiser Permanente members just like you. It is a privilege to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family at Oakland Medical Center and a pleasure to be providing quality urologic care for you. Practicing urology affords me the ability to take care of patients from all genders, ages, and backgrounds, and to help patients with both acute issues as well as chronic issues. I practice general urology with a focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
I was born in China and grew up around Modesto in the Central Valley of California. I attended UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) for college where I studied molecular toxicology. I wanted to get a taste of living outside of California and moved to the opposite coast to Massachusetts and obtained my medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. I fell in love with Boston and stayed at Boston University Medical Center for urology residency. After residency I moved back to California to be close to family and friends and am really excited to be working with my wonderful colleagues at Kaiser Permanente Oakland.
Outside of work, you can find me outdoors, on a nice hike nearby, or picnicking and enjoying the sun. I love to travel to new countries and trying all the different types of cuisines from different cultures.
