Dr. Leak earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Leak then completed his general surgery internship in 1999 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and Urology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 2003. Dr. Leak became board certified by the American Board of Urology in 2005.

Dr. Leak is on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bloomington, Advocate BroMenn in Normal, St. James Hospital in Pontiac, and John Warner Hospital in Clinton.

Dr. Leak’s clinical interests include laparoscopic surgery, female incontinence, laser prostate surgery, and stone disease
