Dr. Badri was born in Houston, but grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in New York, and went on to complete his General Surgery internship and Urology residency training at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Badri completed highly specialized and advanced surgical training at Temple University, a high-volume Level 1 Trauma Center and a National Center of Excellence in advanced robotic surgery. In addition, he served as chief resident in Urologic Oncology at the prestigious National Cancer Institute-designated Fox Chase Cancer Center where he performed high level, minimally-invasive cancer operations and refined his surgical skills. In his training, Dr. Badri performed over 250 robotic and minimally-invasive procedures.
After completing his residency training, Dr. Badri brought his expertise to the Atlanta area where he provided general and robotic urological care to the community. In his two years there, he performed hundreds of general urologic cases and nearly 100 minimally-invasive, robotic procedures.
Dr. Badri and his wife are avid travelers and enjoy exploring the world. In addition, he loves experiencing different cuisine and cultures and is a passionate 49ers fan!
