Testimonial from Childfree Reddit Wiki
He has offices located in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Frisco, and Boulder (All cities in Colorado, United States). Vasectomy for 24yo, single childfree. There’s no waiting period, and Dr. Tonozzi doesn’t even require a consultation first, just get an appointment for the procedure! I experienced no bingos at all, and I even explicitly asked what he thought about my age and status, and his reply was “I know a lot of doctors give a hard time to young people like you, but I don’t believe in that”
+1 Dr. Tonozzi “It took a whole five minutes for the procedure itself and was less painful than plucking a nosehair. The whole thing was just under $900. I texted Dr. Tonozzi to ask how he felt about operating one someone without kids and he had zero issue with it.
+1 Dr Tonozzi, July 2024. He does >500 of these a year with the most modern method (no scalpel, no needle, open ended cautery + dissolvable suture for the tissue flap). He is in western CO but comes to Boulder every month, expect a 2 week to 2 month wait time. You can schedule online, very quick & easy. For younger childless guys (I was 25M) he just asks a few quick questions to make sure that you’ve given this decision the appropriate level of thought & consideration. $900, I didn’t use insurance, no preconsultation needed unless you want a valium (required by state law and he charges $120 for that – I did not use it and was perfectly fine).
