Dr. Buschemeyer is a board-certified urologic surgeon with his own private practice in The Woodlands, Texas and Conroe, Texas. He has performed hundreds of advanced robotic surgical procedures.
He completed his residency and fellowship in urologic surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Before leaving the world-renowned medical center, Dr. Buschemeyer served as Chief Resident in Urologic Surgery. Prior to Duke, Dr. Buschemeyer studied cancer biology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He earned his medical degree, with First Class Honors, from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
In addition to traditional urological procedures and treatments, Dr. Buschemeyer specializes in advanced robotic procedures, including prostatectomy, cystectomy, reconstructive bladder surgery, partial nephrectomy, as well as ureter and kidney reconstruction and repair. He also has a special interest in urologic oncology.
His professional memberships include the American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Urological Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Urological Association. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
