Jed W. Henry, MD, joined the Department of Specialty Care-Urology at Knox Community Hospital in 2009. He completed his residency at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Akron, OH, after obtaining his Doctor of Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Before his residency, Dr. Henry completed a surgical internship at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Anthropology from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, he submitted Genital Edema research to the International Journal of Urology in 2007. He provides care for urinary system health and disorders for men and women. In addition, with a specialty in reproductive system health and disorders for men, Dr. Henry is an asset to the community.

I went in off of a referral for an unrelated issue at the age of 21. Thinking I would kill two birds with one stone, I asked him about exploring my options for a vasectomy at the end of my original appointment. I received little push back. The only push back I got was a few rapid fire questions on why I wouldn’t want children. He did have me wait six weeks for my follow up to go into further detail, however he did accept to do it.
