June 2024. Vasectomy on 24-year-old redditor. He mentioned a lot of doctors would not do the surgery since I have no kids and am young, but he believes it’s our choice, and he said most people do not regret their decision anyways. Basically a lot of explaining was done on the first date. The doctor explained that he does a no scalpel surgery, only 1 incision, and the local anesthetic he uses to numb the patient lasts about 12 hours.

+1 25M, had vasectomy performed within two weeks of initial meeting. He asked if I had been to other doctors in the area before meeting with him, since he knew that others were likely to deny me for being younger. He actually only asked me whether I already had kids AFTER doing the procedure. Awesome guy
